FAQ's
Question: How far in advance should tuxedos for a wedding be arranged?

Answer: We recommend that any wedding tuxedos be arranged at least 3 to 6 months in advance. We also need the sizes of all the groomsmen at least three weeks prior to the wedding date. For Prom, the rule of thumb is : make your choices early, as we will once again be booking out of our most popular styles during Prom season. Tuxedos for a Quinceñera should also be booked 3 to 6 months in advance.

Question: How should groomsmen not living in Santa Barbara be fitted?

Answer: King Tux recommends that any groomsman who lives out of town have a courtesy fitting done at a men's formal wear store where he lives. The sizes should then be sent to King Tux at least three weeks prior to the date of the wedding. A final fitting is done at our store when the groomsman arrives in Santa Barbara for the wedding.

Question: Why is it important to have in-stock inventory?

Answer: In-stock inventory means that we do not have to rely on an outside source to send us our tuxedos. This means that if we need to make size changes the day before the wedding, we can! Most stores that order in their outfits can't make these adjustments.

Question: What styles of tuxedos do you offer?

Answer: With over 30 styles of tuxedos in stock, King Tux can fit just about any taste. We can also special order any style of tuxedo that is available to the men's formal wear rental industry. In addition, we have a variety of shirts, neckwear, vests, and other accessories in stock for your convenience.

Question: Do you also sell formal wear?

Answer: YES! King Tux offers formal wear for sale. Both new and second-hand men's formal attire is available at our store. King Tux includes minor tailoring service in the price of all clothing sold.

Question: What are your hours?

Answer: King Tux is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, Saturdays from 10am to 5pm, and Sundays from 11am to 3pm.

Question: What is included with the tuxedo rental?

Answer: We can provide the entire outfit, including the tuxedo coat, trousers, formal shirt, neckwear, accessories, jewelry and shoes. We also have an a la carte rental program for people who want to rent only part of a tuxedo.
